What the coverage shows
Both outlets focus on Amazon’s move from the earlier Melania documentary to a new two-part Prime Video project, and both note the November 20 debut. The Verge frames it as Amazon “is now making” a Melania Trump TV series and says the title is Melania: The Series, while the New York Times emphasizes that it follows the film and adds that the first lady executive produces it. Only the New York Times extract identifies Brett Ratner as director.
