US justice department investigating Corey Lewandowski over DHS role

What the coverage shows

All seven outlets converge on the Justice Department investigation into Corey Lewandowski, with CBS News, Fox News, and ABC News all attributing the report to sources and the New York Times saying the details remain unclear. The Guardian US is the only outlet to foreground the allegation that he profited off his government role, while NBC frames the story as a DHS watchdog referral to Justice. The Associated Press is distinct in centering Trump’s reaction to the reported probe rather than the inquiry itself.
