Trump focuses on Nicki Minaj’s ‘beautiful’ rear, AOC and owning Greenland in marathon rally speech
‘I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before – Nicki Minaj,’ Trump said as a crowd of his supporters in Michigan roared
What the coverage shows
Both outlets center Trump’s Michigan rally and both foreground Nicki Minaj, quoting or paraphrasing the same “beautiful” rear remark. The Independent’s headline is broader, bundling in AOC and Greenland, while The Guardian US narrows the frame to Trump “rallies for Mike Rogers” and highlights the crowd reaction to the Minaj comment.
