What the coverage shows
Most outlets frame the story as Trump’s final midterm push in Texas, with Axios, Fox News, CNN and The Hill all emphasizing the Texas rallies and the one-week-before-Election-Day timing. CBS News broadens the frame to compare Trump’s rallies with Obama’s midterm appearances, while Newsweek is the only outlet to spotlight a Texas Senate contest and describe “dueling” rallies involving Talarico and Paxton. PBS NewsHour appears only with live coverage notices, without added framing in the extract.
